Short handled high speed steel turning tool
Many first first time woodturners find the oval skew chisel easier to handle than the traditional flat backed skew. The oval profile gives a smoother action when rolling on the tool rest to produce a bead. This tool is ground evenly an both sides of the blade, so it can be used both right handed and left handed along the spindle. This 1" version can be used for smaller details, but will also give the user the option of turning larger profiles into the spindle. Manufactured from high speed steel with ergonomically shaped and balanced handle.
