6" CAST IRON FACEPLATE FOR TURNING BOWLS UP TO 18" CAPACITY
Manufactured from cast grey iron, Record Power faceplates are machined on external faces to a tolerances of 1/1000th of an inch for each inch of radius.
As a rough rule of thumb the recommended capacity of a faceplate is 3 times its diameter so the CWA71 is recommended up to 18".
Eight countersunk location holes are goemetrically located to ensure optimum holding position. Woodscrews are not supplied but we recommend the use of No. 14 Countersink screws. The length of screw will vary depending on application. The CWA71 faceplate is suitable for bowls up to 18" and can be used on any lathe with a 3/4 x 16tpi spindle
