3" FACEPLATE FOR USE WITH NOVA LATHES. REQUIRES INSERT TO FIT LATHE.
Made out of a solid steel billet, this faceplate is strong and robust. A small faceplate is often convenient for initial workholding of even quite large pieces (recommended maximum capacity 9" diameter). One of the advantages they offer is their small contact area allowing maximum freedom while shaping behind a bowl.
But because they are small with reduced contact area, they do need to be made strong. This 80mm faceplate delivers that strength with its quality solid steel design. The faceplate is coated with a rust protective black finish.
