Product Code: RPWTS315/UK1

THIS NEW CAST IRON SAWBENCH PROVIDES VERY HEAVY BUILD QUALITY, FLEXIBILITY AND SOME NEAT FEATURES TO ENSURE EXCEPTIONAL VALUE FOR MONEY.

The TS315 completes our recent upgrading and expansion of the table saw range. Table saws are often at the heart of many workshops and with the TS315 we have tried to offer a real workhorse at a price the keen enthusiast or semi-professional can justify.
The construction is extremely heavy. The cabinet is one piece and welded from heavy gauge steel to provide rigidity and a strong foundation for the saw unit. The saw unit and motor housing itself is made from cast iron and sits within two large cast iron trunnions which are machined for accuracy and mounted on the frame (rather than the table) in the same manner as our large industrial panel saws - to provide accuracy, rigidity and longevity. The rise and fall of the blade and tilting mechanism on the blade are controlled by separate handwheels and operate on sturdy steel lead screws with rolled ACME threads for smooth action. The large cast table is surface ground to ensure a smooth, flat finish. The fence is a heavy cast iron mount with cam locks and fine adjustment and mounted to a steel bar for rock solid performance and easy setting. As standard the machine comes with a maximum ripping capacity of 910mm - but this can be extended to 1250mm with the optional right hand extension kit.
The quiet induction motor is a generous 3HP and drives the 10â saw blade and 80mm scoring blade with ease. Scoring is belt driven and can be adjusted from the top of the table and will provide a clean cut with minimal break out on veneered sheets and boards. With the optional 12â table insert, the scoring blade can be removed to allow a 12â blade to be fitted, increasing the maximum cutting depth capacity to 100mm - a very useful feature when ripping solid timber.
Cross cutting can be achieved very accurately on the industrial style sliding beam which is supplied with a standard locking mitre fence and has a stroke of 1250mm. The main advantages of this system are that the beam travels right up to the blade so there is no gap from the sliding table to the blade - ensuring maximum support and accuracy. Also if space is restricted this enables the sliding action to be used within the footprint of a normal sawbench. There is an optional sturdy steel squaring frame with telescopic support arm and extendable cross cut fence with flipover stop that can be added to make larger cross cutting or sheet sizing accurate and easy.
When compared with a number of much more lightly constructed machines that cost about the same of even more that the TS315 it is easy to see the tremendous value for money on offer and we recommend you try to see the machine in person at a dealer or show to fully appreciate the build quality and features. As ever this machine is backed up by our market leading 5 year guarantee.
