They are only suitable for non abrasive materials, but will give a superior finish in soft timbers. Generally HSS cutters are slightly less expensive than their TC grades, but can be more suitable for certain applications.

These cutters are suitable for grooving, rebating, mortising & drilling, the single flute cutters offer fast free cutting. If you require a cleaner cut please use two flute cutters.

The depth of cut on cutters of 2.0 mm diameter and below should be a maximum of 1.0 mm per pass.

Single flute cutters must not be used in eccentric chucks.
