The M-41R is formed of high carbon steel.
The handles are formed of special high strength steel and have a margin of strength far above the limit of the hand power that can be exerted.
M-41R is widley used in the heating and air conditioning industry as a pipe and duct snip.
It is popular for cutting many rigid non-metallic sheet materials such as fibreglass panels, decorative plastic kitchen laminates, synthetic shingles, flooring materials and lots more.
Wiss Metalmaster M-41R features a patented ball-bearing jaw action that automatically adjusts blade clearance for square cleaner cuts.
When cutting laminates, the finished surface should be on the side of the centre blade to avoid excessive cracking.
Will cut mild steel up to .9mm thick.
